No. This is a friendly workshop for singers of all levels. You do not need to be able to read music or have any previous choir experience.

We’ll be learning a musical theatre mash-up of Go the Distance and Defying Gravity, featuring music from Hercules and Wicked.

No. This is a one-off workshop to explore musical theatre singing, vocal technique, storytelling, performance style and how to use your voice safely.

The workshop will be led by Danni, Prestwich Community Choir’s experienced and professional Musical Director.

Yes. The workshop is open to PCC members, friends, family and members of the public. PCC members receive priority booking for one week before any remaining places are released publicly. The workshop is recommended for age 8+. Children and young people aged 8 to 17 will need a child / young person ticket and must attend with a responsible adult who has also booked a ticket.

Yes. Members can book for their whole party during priority booking, but the PCC member ticket rate is for current PCC members only. Guests should book an adult or child / young person ticket.

PCC member tickets are only available to current members. If your membership is not active on the date of the workshop, you will need to pay the difference between the member ticket and the standard adult ticket, or your ticket may be cancelled and refunded.

The Goats Gate is a pub venue, so food and drink will be available to buy. there will be a 20-30 minute break in the middle of the workshop or you may also wish to stay for a drink and chat afterwards.

Please let us know when booking if you or anyone in your party has any access needs, support needs or anything else it would be helpful for us to know. We will do our best to support you where possible.

Tickets are refundable up to 14 days before the workshop. After this point, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the workshop is cancelled by Prestwich Community Choir.
