Love musical theatre? Come and join us for a fun, welcoming singing workshop at the Goats Gate in Whitefield, no experience needed.

You’ll learn a show-stopping mash-up of Go the Distance and Defying Gravity, featuring music from Hercules and Wicked, while exploring how to sing in a musical theatre style with confidence.

Led by experienced, professional Musical Director Danni, the session will cover vocal technique, storytelling, performance style for musicals. All in a relaxed, supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to join in.

Whether you already love singing or just want to try something new, this workshop is a great way to spend some time with family and friends, build confidence and enjoy some brilliant musical theatre singing, all without the pressure to join a choir.

We’re excited to be performing at Manchester Day 2026!

Come and catch Prestwich Community Choir in Exchange Square from 3.30pm for a feel-good set of contemporary pop and musical theatre songs.

Manchester Day takes place across the city centre from 12 noon to 5pm, with live music, street performances, activities and the colourful Manchester Day Parade. It’s completely free, with no tickets needed, so come along and cheer us on!

Pitch Perfect is a bold and playful performance project exploring the unexpected crossover between opera and football.

This project invites audiences to experience music and sport in a fresh and surprising way, where two worlds collide, culminating in a large scale performance with 100’s of voices.

Prestwich Community Choir are proud to be involved in this collaborative project, showcasing the versatility of community voices in an innovative public performance.
